Arthritis Programs

If you have arthritis, participating in joint-friendly physical activity can improve your arthritis pain, function, mood, and quality of life. Joint-friendly physical activities are low-impact, which means they put less stress on the body, reducing the risk of injury.

Regular exercise can boost strength and flexibility in people who have arthritis. Stronger muscles can better support your joints, while improved flexibility can aid joint function.

Some of the Other Health Benefits of Moving Regularly for People Living With Arthritis:

  • Strengthen the muscles around your joints
  • Help you maintain bone strength
  • Give you more energy to get through the day
  • Make it easier to get a good night’s sleep
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Improve your balance

Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program.
