Our Method - Fitness

We’re not your average fitness centre. We don’t have rows and rows of random fitness equipment, leaving you to figure out things alone. You are assigned a dedicated workout station with equipment, a tablet with your plan, and a personal trainer to coach you along.

What happens to our health as we age and become/stay inactive?

  • Strength and Mobility Decreases: As we age we experience a gradual loss of muscle, reduced energy, and achy joints. There is an increased risk of falls, fractures, disability and even death.
  • Cardiovascular Decline: As we age, blood vessels can stiffen, blockages can build up, and the system may become prone to inflammation, resulting in increased risk of heart attacks, heart failure, and other cardiac dysfunction.
  • Nutritional Needs Change: Older adults generally have lower calorie needs, but similar or even increased nutrient needs compared to younger adults. This is often due to less physical activity, changes in metabolism, menopause for women, or age-related loss of bone and muscle mass.
