Jodi-Ann Vaz-Alcide
Physiotherapist
Originally from Jamaica, Jodi-Ann completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy Degree ( with First class honours) from the University of the West Indies- Mona in 2012. Jodi-Ann worked in various hospitals in Jamaica gaining experiences in both inpatient and outpatient care before moving to the Bahamas in 2015. While in the Bahamas Jodi-ann completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of St. Augustine Florida in 2020.
Jodi-ann is dedicated to continuing her education and professional development and has completed the following courses:
- Functional Integrated Cupping for Sports rehabilitation and pain management ,2017
- Move kinetic Taping Module 1&2 ,2017
- Muscles Energy Techniques- The upper quadrant 2017
- Muscle Energy Techniques- The Lumbo-sacral complex
Jodi-Ann firmly believes in providing quality care using evidence-informed treatment approaches tailored to each individual needs in order to achieve optimum recovery. Jodi-Ann adopts a wholistic approach in targeting patient needs and building a good rapport so patients can feel comfortable expressing their needs or concerns.
Outside of the clinic Jodi-ann enjoys spending time with family and keeping up with her two young children.whenever she gets the chance Jodi-Ann enjoys playing soccer and volleyball.
