Alexander Moyes

PASSIONATE AND COMMITTED PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Alexander Moyes spent his entire life growing up in Orleans. Then in 2019, he moved to Toronto where he pursued his physiotherapy dreams. Alexander obtained his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto after completing his Honours Bachelor in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa.

Alexander is a strong advocate for exercise and believes that movement is part of being human. He utilizes manual therapy in conjunction with exercise to promote an optimal recovery. He is committed to empowering everyone he meets to take an active role and engage in a healthy lifestyle. Alexander also places a major emphasis on helping people make sense and take control over the pain they’re experiencing by prioritizing education and communication. He understands how every injury is unique in its impact on a person’s life and works with them to get back to the activities that are most meaningful to them.

Alexander has a passion for helping people with orthopedic injuries and those living with vestibular issues. If you have the opportunity to work with him, you’ll quickly notice that he always brings positive and lighthearted energy to every interaction he has.

Some of the continuing education that Alexander has completed includes:

  • The Shoulder: Complex doesn’t have to be complicated (Adam Meakins)
  • The Running Repairs Course (Tom Goom - The Running Physio)

Outside of the clinic, Alexander enjoys working out, running, and spending time with family and friends. He likes to consider himself a “foodie” and is always looking for recommendations on what to try next!
